Moooce — shoppable video for Shopify. Last updated 29 August 2026.
Moooce lets a merchant put products on a video and share a link. This page describes exactly what the app stores, why, and how long. It is written from the app's data model, not from intent — if the app changes, this page changes with it.

For orders that come through a Moooce link we store the order id, order number, subtotal, currency and source. That is what our commission is calculated from.
We do not store the customer's name, email, phone number or address. We hold Shopify's level 1 protected customer data access for two stated purposes — app functionality (billing the merchant) and analytics (the merchant's own sales figures) — and we request no field-level access.
Nothing that identifies a person. The player counts plays and add-to-cart events per video. There are no cookies, no IP addresses and no session identifiers. A viewer cannot be recognised across videos, visits or devices.
Checkout happens in the merchant's own Shopify checkout. We never see the payment, and we never receive the customer's details.

The application and its database run in Frankfurt, inside the EU. Cloudflare delivers video from whichever edge is closest to the viewer, which can be outside the EU; those files are the merchant's own video, and hold no personal data about anyone.
These periods are enforced by the app, not just written here.

When the app is uninstalled, the session is deleted immediately. On
Shopify's shop/redact request we delete everything we hold for that
shop: videos, products placed on them, attributed orders, play statistics,
the profile image, settings and sessions.
Because we store no personal data about a shop's customers, a
customers/redact or customers/data_request has nothing to
act on — we confirm this rather than returning data.
